The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram established in 1981, is an internationally recognised centre providing state-of-the-art facilities for cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliation and rehabilitation and conducting a wide range of research on various type of cancers. This state-owned premier cancer care hospital and research centre is one among the six centres instituted in India under the 'National Cancer Control Programme' of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The Centre has a second campus at Pulayanarkotta, Thiruvananthapuram and three outreach centres located in Palakkad, Ernakulam and Kollam districts.

Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram is looking for a dynamic candidate to fill up one post of Clinical Trial Co-ordinator (on contract basis) for a clinical trial Project. 

Primary Role and Responsibilities
• Coordinate and execute clinical study as per good clinical practice and protocol
• Help to recruit participants required for the project and explain the procedure to the participants and family members
• Discuss about informed consent with participants
• Complete case report form(CRF) daily
• Monitor individual participants and follow up regularly for additional tests and visits
• Maintain data bases of participant information
• Collaborate and liaise with study team members

Qualification and Experience
• Degree in Life Sciences / Post Graduation in Life Sciences / Masters in Clinical research or Graduation / Biological Sciences.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certificate.
• Desirable - at least 6 month experience in Clinical Research.
• Consolidated salary is Rs.20,000 per month.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with participants, follow up with them and ability to interact with healthcare professionals, researchers and sponsors.
• Good organizing and problem solving skills.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Spreadsheets.


Age Limit : 35 years as on 01.06.2025, with the usual age relaxation prescribed for eligible candidates.
Period : Initial appointment on a contract basis will be for a period of one year or till the completion of the Project, whichever is earlier.
