National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh (also known as NIT Arunachal Pradesh or NITAP) is a public technical and research institute located at Jote near Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. NIT Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. NIT Arunachal Pradesh started its functioning from 2010 in a temporary campus in Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh. The institute presently functions from its permanent Campus at Jote, Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh.

Post : Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

Name of the Research Project : Documentation & Scientific Validation of Folk Knowledge on Medicinal Plants used by the Nyishi & Adi Communities of Arunachal Pradesh

Name of the Sponsoring Agency : DST (SHRI)

Tenure of the Project : 03 Years

Tenure of the Assignment : Extendable annually till completion of project subject to the satisfactory performance and availability of funds released by sponsoring agency

Consolidated monthly Fellowship/Salary : Rs. 37,000/- per month + 10% HRA

Essential Qualifications and experience : M-Pharm/M-tech/MSc in Pharm/Biotech/Life science

Accommodation : Bachelors Accommodation in the Institute Hostel may be provided, subject to availability
