Opportunity for M.Pharm, MS Pharm, MSc as JRF at NIPER

Applications are invited for one temporary post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in ANRF funded project entitled “Tackling antifungal resistance in pathogenic Candida species: One pump at a time” tenable at Department of Biotechnology, NIPER-Ahmedabad. The position is initially for period of one year extendable to further one year subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the candidate. The position will be co-terminus with the project.

Engagement Period (JRF) : Initially for a period of one year extendable to further one year subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Salary per month : As per Department of Science and Technology GoI rules. Rs. 37,000/- + HRA

Essential Qualification
• M. Pharm/ MS Pharm/ MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Biotechnology/Microbiology or Life sciences
• PG degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ Institute, autonomous bodies NIPER/IITs/IISER.

Desired qualification :
• GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT qualified.

Work experience : Prior experience in basic techniques in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry are desirable but not mandatory.
