Indian Institute of Technology Indore located in Madhya Pradesh, known as IIT Indore or IITI, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009. It is one of the eight new IITs, started by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The institution started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilya University under mentorship of IIT Bombay.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Technical Support - III in an ICMR-funded Research Project entitled ‘Development of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Kits against drug- resistant Salmonella Infections’.
Objectives of the Project : The project's main aim is to develop diagnostics of antibiotic-resistant Salmonella strains. The proposed studies include molecular cloning, protein expression, Ag-Ab reactions, ELISA and LFA development.
Eligibility Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (with valid GATE) / M.Tech. Degree or equivalent in streams like Biotechnology /Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences OR B.V.Sc. (with valid ICAR AIEEA-PG) OR B.Pharma (with valid GPAT) OR MBBS (with valid NEET PG) or in any other science and engineering stream.
Desirable : Candidates having experience in working with cloning, expression, and purification of proteins from bacteria, protein characterization, etc., are encouraged to apply. CSIR / UGC/ DBT-JRF fellowship holders would be preferred.
Monthly Stipend : As per norms (i.e. about Rs. 28,000 + 16% HRA (if hostel accommodation is not provided))
Duration : The appointment will be for 6 months. Further extension will be based on the performance of the fellow.

CV should include details of academic grades starting from 10th standard onwards with details of year of passing, university or college, etc. and also work experience and nature of work if applicable. Complete details of NET/GATE, such as year of passing/validity, discipline, marks, and All India Rank.
