Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (popularly called UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), with the noble intention of advancing India’s knowledge reserves in chemical science and technology, the Institute has grown to become a premier (deemed) university devoted to education, training, research and industrial collaboration in chemical engineering, chemical technology, applied chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology and bio-processing.
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound research project for a temporary period- purely on contractual basis as per the following details.

Project Title : Myoglobin as Alternative Animal-Based Meat Protein, Production and Characterization in Microalgae
Department : Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology
Project Tenure : Three years
Job Description : Experimental planning, Execution, Result Analysis, documentation, Project Report Preparation
Essential Qualification : B.S. 4 years Programme /BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Age Limit : 28Yrs
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relax-able up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship : Rs.37,000/-p.m.+ 27% HRA
