All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). The Foundation stone for the institute was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis at Sector 20, MIHAN on 14th April 2017. Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highway and Shipping (GoI), Shri Nitin Gadkari, and several other dignitaries graced the occasion.

Post : Project Technical Support III

The following position under a project titled “Targeting Lung cancer cells with Panchagavya conjugated PDL1 blocking peptides through Polyoxometalate (POM) Quantum-Container Derived Liposomes” is to be filled purely on temporary basis, at Dept, of Biochemistry, AIIMS Nagpur Panel of recommended candidates shall be shortlisted after written test followed by interview and they will be engaged in the present and future vacancies of projects as per requirement from time to time.

Minimal Qualification : Essential:
• B.Sc. (Life sciences) with Three- year experience in relevant subject OR Post graduate in (Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Microbiology)

Desirable :
• Handling samples and conducting experiments related to cancer biology.
• Molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, etc.
• Handling murine model, cell culture and human patient specimen.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with knowledge of performing basic statistical analysis
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and writing)

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments : Fixed Rs.28,000/- per month + HRA as applicable

Age Limit : 35 years

Tenure : One year

Note :
1. Validity of the short list will be for one year from the date of publication of the result and renewable accordingly.
2. Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from an institute of repute. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
3. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Govt, of India rules. Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age relaxation to the extent of services rendered in similar research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.
4. The posts are purely on contract basis for an external sponsored project, and no claim for any other regular post in AIIMS Nagpur shall be entertained.
5. Valid email id and mobile number is compulsory.
6. Consolidated salary of the post may vary from time to time. No other allowance/ facilities other than consolidated salary shall be extended.
7. Decision of the Principal Investigator will be final.
8. No TA/ DA will be paid for the interview.
9. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
10. Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.

11. The engagement can be terminated during the tenure at any time by giving one month’s notice on either side. Your engagement can be terminated forthwith or before the expiry of the notice period, by making payment of a sum equivalent to one-month project position remuneration. However, you will not be permitted to surrender one month’s remuneration, in lieu of the period of notice of unexpired portion thereof and you will be required to serve the full period of notice.
12. The appointee may be relieved from the current job position, with one-month prior notice, failing to do so may be held responsible for paying one-month salary.
13. Candidates appearing for the Interview must bring all original certificates and are required to submit two sets of duly filled application form and self-attested photocopies of all the educational mark-sheets, degrees, experience certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), qualifying degree registration with statutory council and other relevant documents - 1. Proof of Date of Birth, 2. UG Degree, 3. PG Degree, 4. PG Degree Marksheet 5. Experience Certificate, etc.) failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
14. The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of the candidate will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Date, time and venue of interview will be intimated by email only.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to attend the interview (shortlisted candidates only) in the Department of Biochemistry, Third Floor, Medical College Building, AIIMS, MIHAN, Nagpur- 441 108. Date and time of interview will be intimated by email.
