The institute completed its 100 years in 2019, and we wish to take forward the legacy with rejuvenated vigor and sheer dedication with a commitment to nation building. The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi owes its existence to Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), who could foresee the vital role of technical education in strengthening independent India. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).
Post : Junior Research fellow
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow at a Fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 37,000 p.m. in a CSIR Sponsored Project entitled “Designing and fabrication of norafloxacin cunps and EGF-loaded multilayered wound dressings for diabetic burn wounds” sanctioned up to 3 Year.

Fellowship/salary : Rs. 37,000 p.m

Duration : 1 Year, Extended based on performance
Essential minimum qualification : B.S. 4 years programme/BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS- MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Desirable qualification, if any : Familiar with Tissue engineering & Animal Study
Maximum Age : 28
Relaxation for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates : The upper age limit is up to 5-years in the case of relaxation candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
