Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, in 1916, through close cooperation with great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was established by the Parliamentary legislation-B.H.U. Act 1915.
Post : Junior Research Assistant
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Assistant with a Salary/Stipend/Fellowship/Fixed amount of Rs.25,000/-in a Council of Science & Technology, UP Sponsored Project entitled “Annexin A1 : Unravelling its crucial role in neuro inflammation during Hepatic Encephalopathy” Project Code (P-26/0155) sanctioned up to 11th November 2027.The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project .
The candidate should be M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/Life sciences with a first-class division at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, the candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 year for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female. candidates). All things being equal. SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOL rules.
