Inviting applications for a Full-Time International PhD Program under the prestigious ASCRIN initiative, a joint research effort between BITS Pilani (Hyderabad Campus) and La Trobe University (Australia).
Applications are invited for the Ph.D. position to work in an Indo-Australian BITS-La Trobe joint PhD program under the supervision of Prof. Jayati Ray Dutta, Biological Sciences Department, Prof. Ramakrishnan Ganesan, Chemistry, BITS-Pilani Hyderabad Campus, India, & Prof. Mark Hullet, La Trobe University Australia.
Project Title : Identification and characterization of phosphoinositide-binding human defensins as potential anticancer agents
No. of Position : 01
Duration : Students who receive a co-funded scholarship from BITS-Pilani will spend most of their candidature in India, with upto 12 months based on a La Trobe campus in Australia.
Fellowship amount : Rs. 37000 per month at BITS Pilani campus
Eligibility : M.Tech / M.Phil / M.Pharm / M.Sc in Pharmacy / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences / Biological Sciences / Nanotechnology / Biochemistry
Desirable Criteria : GATE/NET is desirable but not mandatory Working experience in cell culture, in vivo culture, and microbiological techniques/material synthesis is desirable.
