The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram established in 1981, is an internationally recognised centre providing state-of-the-art facilities for cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliation and rehabilitation and conducting a wide range of research on various type of cancers. This state-owned premier cancer care hospital and research centre is one among the six centres instituted in India under the 'National Cancer Control Programme' of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The Centre has a second campus at Pulayanarkotta, Thiruvananthapuram and three outreach centres located in Palakkad, Ernakulam and Kollam districts.

Qualification & Experience
Essential : M.Sc. in Biological subject / Chemistry / Biochemistry
Experience : 2 years experience in Cancer Research.
Remuneration : Rs.45,000/-per month (consolidated)
No. of vacancy : 1 (One)
Tenure of engagement : One year
Age limit : 18-36.
Only Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation
A walk-in-interview will be conducted in the Conference Hall II in Block A of the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram on 30/07/2025 at 11.00 AM for selection of candidates for appointment to the post of Scientific Officer, in Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, on contract basis. Candidates who desire to attend the interview shall report at the venue shown above at 10.00 AM positively.
