National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER - Raebareli) is an autonomous body which has been established under the aegis of the Department of pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in the Government of India, to provide leadership in pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas. It admits students for M.S (Pharm), programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Regulatory Toxicology and Biotechnology every year. Ph.D programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology & Toxicology started from 2017 and in Biotechnology from 2021.

Post : JRF Position under ANRF-ECRG funded Project

Project Title: Single-Molecule Nanopore Technology for Detection of Exosomal Tau in Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnostics

Funding Agency : Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)

Duration : 3 years (up to the termination of the project)

Emoluments : JRF @Rs. 37,000 Rs /per month plus HRA as applicable.

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. / MS Pharm / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Devices / Bioelectronics / Life Sciences with a consistently good academic record with a minimum 60% aggregate or 6.75 CGPA

Desirable : A candidate with GPAT or GATE or NET qualification will be preferred. Prior research experience in protein aggregation, and molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR, immunoblotting, SDS-PAGE), along with proficiency in MATLAB/Python coding. Experience in model systems such as C. elegans and zebrafish is desirable.

Upper age Limit : 28 yrs.
The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/ women and physically disabled candidates.

2. The position is purely temporary and will be initially for a period of one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and project duration.
3. The interview will be held tentatively on 07 August 2025 at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli Bijnor-Sisendi Road, Sarojini Nagar, Near CRPF Base Camp, Lucknow.
4. The candidate should come along with their Updated CV, original certificates, proof of experience (if any), and a valid ID at 10:00 am (reporting time) on the scheduled date.
5. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates.
