NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics. The Institute aims at translational research leading to genetic enhancement of Indian Livestock species and basic research towards development of novel vaccines, diagnostics and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following position at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, against the ICMR-funded project entitled "Identification and phenotypic analysis of novel targets of guardian of germ cells (TAp63)". PI: Dr. H.B.D.Prasada Rao, NIAB, Hyderabad.
Essential qualification : Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course. .M.V.Sc./M.Tech./MSc./ M.Pharm Degree in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Immunology with first division. Experience reproductive biology will be preferred.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000 (No HRA)
Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
