IIT Gandhinagar was founded in 2008 and is located in Palaj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat on the banks of river Sabarmati. Post : Project Assistant
Applicants are invited for the post of Project Assistant (2 positions) at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) in the area of Protein Biochemistry and Peptide Synthesis.
Eligibility : The candidate must hold a M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Biological Sciences or Biotechnology from recognized institutions/universities with a good academic track record.
Duration : 6 months
Job Description : The Project Assistant will be responsible for performing Protein expression, purification and Biophysical characterization. The applicant shall also have some experience of peptide synthesis and shall have experience of working with at least some of the relevant instruments such as HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, MALDI-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Gel imager, CD etc.
Salary : INR 25,000/- per month + HRA
