Vacancy for Pharmacists under CDM & PHO | 7000 posts

As per the order NO.16705/H&FW, Dt. 14.07.2020 of Govt, of Odisha, H & F.W. Department, applications are invited for walk-in-Interview of paramedical staffs i.e. ANM / Staff Nurse / Pharmacists to be engaged on daily wages basis in view of the ongoing Corona pandemic.

In view of the mpid spread of COVID-19 in the country and detection of large number of positive cases in the state, Government have proposed to establish Covid Care Homes/ Covid Gruhns in each Panchayat of the State. For smooth management of these Covid Care Homes, it has become necessary to augment (lie health work force in the state. Hence, Govt, have been pleased to approve the proposal for temporary engagement of 7000 trained manpower for Covid Care Homes covering 6798 Gram Panchayats of the State. The base level health activity in these Covid Care Homes will be managed by unemployed trained and registered ANMs. For the purpose, it has been decided to engage atleast 1 (one) unemployed ANM per each proposed COVID Care Home in each Panchayat. In case, this category of manpower (unemployed ANMs) is not available, unemployed registered Staff Nurses or Pharmacists can be engaged in place of ANMs in the order of preference as given below

Basic Requirements : Unemployed trained and registered ANMs

Total remuneration per day : Rs.850/-

Staff Nurse
Basic Requirements : Unemployed trained and registered Pharmacist-in case of non-availability of unemployed trained and registered ANMs
No. of manpower required : Approx. 7000 (Total: 6798-GP)
Total remuneration per day : Rs.1000/-

Pharmacist
Basic Requirements : Unemployed trained and registered Pharmacist-in case of non-availability of unemployed trained and registered ANMs
No. of manpower required : Approx. 7000 (Total: 6798-GP)
Total remuneration per day : Rs.1000/-

Terms and conditionsThe engagement shall be made on the following terms and conditions:
1. The engagement is purely temporary. for a period of 03 (three) months only or till Covid Care Homes are functional, whichever is earlier, keeping in view the emergency situation arising due to Covid-19.
2. The engagement is terminable at any period of time without assigning any reason thereof. Further, such engagement docs not confer any right on the engage for any future engagement/ regularization of such engagement
3. Their engagement shall be done by respective CDM&PHOs through Walk-in interview in a transparent manner, with proper advertisement, depending on the number of Covid Gruhas in their respective district.
4. The remuneration shall be on daily-wage basis as per details mentioned in the table above , i.c., as per Labour and ESI Department Notification No. 11688/LC ( Pharma) dated 07.11.2019.
5. In case of non-availability of ANMs, the CDM&PHO may engage alternatively, unemployed and trained Staff Nurses /Pharmacists in order of preference as mentioned in the table above with daily remuneration @ Rs. 1000/-.
6. The district wise no. of ANMs to be engaged by virtue of this order shall depend on the number of Covid Gruhas to be opened in the districts respectively.
