All India Institute of Medical Science, Bathinda (Punjab), an autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of the new AIIMS being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swastya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalance in the quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining Selfsufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education of training. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide its letter No. Z-28016/45/2017-PMSSY-III dated 4th February 2019 has declared PGIMER, Chandigarh as the mentor Institute for operationalisation of various activities at AIIMS, Bathinda (Punjab).

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh invite applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment of the following faculty posts on direct recruitment basis in various departments of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, Punjab.

PROFESSOR

Pay Scale : Level 14 A in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

No of Post : 01 (01 OBC)

Qualification
For Medical:
ESSENTIAL A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pharmacology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.
EXPERIENCE 14 years teaching and research experience in a UGC recognized University/MCI recognized college/autonomous Institution in the subject of Pharmacology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

For Non-Medical:
ESSENTIAL a. Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Pharmacology/ M.Sc. (Pharmacology) / M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology. b. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognised by the University Grants Commission. EXPERIENCE 14 years teaching and/or research experience in the speciality of Pharmacology from a UGC recognised University / MCI recognised College/ autonomous Institute after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.

ADDITIONAL PROFESSOR

Pay Scale : Level-13A2 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

No of Post : 01 (01 OBC)

Qualification
For Medical:
ESSENTIAL : A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pharmacology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

EXPERIENCE : 10 years teaching and research experience in a UGC recognized University/MCI recognized college/autonomous Institution in the subject of Pharmacology after obtaining the degree of MD.

For Non-Medical:
ESSENTIAL :
a. Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Pharmacology/ M.Sc. (Pharmacology) / M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology.
b. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognised by the University Grants Commission.EXPERIENCE : 10 years teaching and/or research experience in the speciality of Pharmacology from a UGC recognised University / MCI recognised Colllege/ autonomous Institute after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Pay Scale : Level-13A1 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

Qualification
For Medical:
ESSENTIAL : A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Pharmacology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

EXPERIENCE : 6 years teaching and research experience in a UGC recognized University/MCI recognized college/autonomous Institution in the subject of Pharmacology after obtaining the degree of MD.

For Non-Medical:
ESSENTIAL :
a. Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Pharmacology/ M.Sc. (Pharmacology) / M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology.
