Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University was established as a State University vide U.P. State Government notification no. (10)/(865)/15/(75)(85)/64 dated 23 November 1973. It has a rare distinction of taking birth through a powerful popular movement during early seventies in last century. This movement symbolized the hopes and aspirations of the masses of the region of Garhwal for the development through the instrument of higher education. The people of this remote mountainous region agitated for opening a University at a small but historic semi rural town of Srinagar.
Post : Project Fellow or Project Associate
Applications are invited for a purely temporary position of Project Fellow or Project Associate (01) for a major research Project entitled “Synthesis of polymeric cyclodextrin nanoparticles: Effect of radiation” (CRS/19/RC15) from UGC-DAE CSR, Kolkata initially for a period of 1 year (likely to be extended up to 3 years till the duration of project) in the fellowship as prescribed by the UGC-DAE Consortium of Scientific Research (CSR) Kolkata.
The appointment shall be purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research scheme and the appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in UGC-DAE CSR.
Qualification : The candidate must have M.Sc./ M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm. in the relevant subject with minimum 55 % marks. The candidate with over all good academic record, relevant knowledge/ research experience, publications and report writing skills shall be preferred.
