The Health & Family Welfare Department of the State Government has been vested with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the health care system in West Bengal. Public health, sanitation and hospitals are the exclusive responsibilities of the State. State provides financial and managerial support for the basic health care support and infrastructural facilities at the rural level, while the State level super specialty Medical Colleges & Hospitals predominantly provides the ambulatory care services.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to various contractual posts under different programmers & schemes as per format/ as per Terms of Reference (TOR).

Ayurvedic Pharmacist

Fixed Remuneration : Rs. 23,305/- per month

No. of Posts : Total post-1 (UR-1)

Criteria/qualifications
a) Essential:
Passed Madhyamik from a recognized Board and certificate course in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized Institution or "Ayurved Tirtha” of the Paschim Banga Ayurvedic Parishad.
b) Knowledge of Bengali: Able to read, write and speak
c) Desirable: Knowledge in MS Office in Computers

Age: Not more than 40 years as on 01.07.2018

Homoeopathic Pharmacist

Fixed Remuneration : Rs. 23,305/- per month

No. of Posts : Total post-1 (UR-1)

Criteria/qualifications
a) Essential:
Passed Madhyamik from a recognized Board and one year certificate course of Homoeopathy Pharmacy conducted by the Council of Homoeopathic Medicine, West Bengal or its equivalent.
b) Knowledge of Bengali: Able to read, write and speak
c) Desirable: Knowledge in MS Office in Computers

Age: Not more than 40 years as on 01.07.2018

Unani Pharmacist

Fixed Remuneration : Rs. 23,305/- per month

No. of Posts : Total post-1 (UR-1)

Criteria/qualifications
a) Essential:
Passed Madhyamik from a recognized Board or its equivalent and Degree/Diploma in Unani Pharmacy from a recognized Institution or five years experience as Unani Pharmacist under registered Unani Doctor.
b) Knowledge of Bengali: Able to read, write and speak
c) Desirable: Knowledge in MS Office in Computers

Age: Not more than 40 years as on 01.07.2018

The applicant must submit self attested copies of educational/training qualifications, experience, bonafide SC/ST/OBC certificate, Residential certificate, Birth certificate or admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination for proof of date of birth, and in the specified format with Non- refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- for reserve category candidates) in favour of CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH. ALIPURDUAR are to reach the office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health & Member Secretary, DH&FWS, Alipurduar by 06.08.2018 at 4 PM only by Registered post/Speed post/Courier. The department will not be responsible for any postal delay.

The envelopes containing the application with supporting documents should be sealed, addressed to the Chief Medical Officer of Health & Member Secretary. DH&FWS.
