Job Description
IMCD India is looking for an ambitious, talented person seeking a commercial career requiring technical competence. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Chemistry or related subject and a solid proven track record in a commercial role in an (inter)national business-to-business environment.

The person will be passionate about the Pharmaceuticals market and will have demonstrated a previous track record of business success in this sector.

To successfully lead their team the person will need to be well organised, results driven, as well as possessing the softer communication and interpersonal skills necessary to win the hearts and minds of their team.

The Business Unit (BU) Head will be accountable for:
• building and further developing the strong existing relationships with our suppliers/customers
• setting out the strategic growth plan for the India Pharma business
• delivering the budgeted financial targets of the business unit
• pursuing potential new supply partners to further enhance the existing range of complementary Pharmaceuticals ingredients
• proactively network with BU Head peers within the IMCD group of companies.

The Business Unit Head will report directly to the Business Director of IMCD India and will additionally have a reporting line to the IMCD Group Director for Pharma.

Experience: min 15-20 years in Sales/distribution of Excipients in Pharma sector

Educational back ground: BSc Chemistry/Pharmacy/B Tech Pharma with additional business Management degree (preferred)

Salary: As per industry standards.
