The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October, 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT, Mumbai. Research has been an integral part of ICT since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs. The UDCT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai and further converted in to an Institute on 26th January, 2002.

Remuneration/Fellowship : Project Associate-I (Rs. 31,000+ 24% HRA) Project Associate-ll (Rs. 35,000+ 24%HRA) for the candidates qualified in GATE/GPAT or CSIR-UGC-NET or similar examination conducted by Central Government Departments or Agencies. If you are not qualified as per the above conditions, you are entitled for following fellowship: Project Associate-1 (Rs. 25,000+ 24% HRA) Project Associate-ll (Rs. 28,000+ 24%HRA)


Short Description P06 : The project is focused on perfusion process development of the Project for the manufacturing of monoclonal antibody, the project aims to develop bioreactor process parameters, membrane separation parameters, downstream bioprocessing and analytical characterisation of purified antibody.

Essential Qualification : Masters in Bioprocessing Technology or Biochemical Engineering or Biotechnology or Equivalent
Desirable Qualification : Biochemical Engineering


Experience : The candidate should have experience with cell culture and managing cell culture in bioreactors, cell culture process development experience and industrial experience would be a plus.

The applications should reach on or before April 15. 2022 5.00 PM. Late application will not be accepted.

The selection of the candidate will be carried out through interview for selected candidates. A Link to attend interview would be sent to the selected candidates. The candidates can be admitted to PhD program of ICT based on the institutional rules and regulations. The recommendation of the committee will be final.
