RCB Research opportunities for Life Sciences in anti-tuberculosis drug target

Mandate of the Centre is to provide a platform for biotechnology education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines. The programmes of the Centre are designed to create opportunities for students to engage in multi-disciplinary research where they learn biotech science while integrating engineering, medicine and science, to provide solutions for human and animal health, agriculture and environmental technologies.

No. of Position : One (01)
Title of Project : Exploring ribosome hibernation in Mycobacterium tuberculosis as a potential anti-tuberculosis drug target. Duration : For one year only.
Age : 34 Years as on 31.01.2026

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent exam cleared. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree. Two years' experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in gene cloning, protein purification, ribosome purification, and cryo- electron microscopy. Good oral and written communication skills. A strong motivation for a career in research.

Fellowship : Rs.42,000/- + HRA% (as applicable) per month
