Applications are invited for the engagement of One (01) Project Associate-I on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year and may be extendable upto 2 years for the DBT-funded project entitled "Scientific Validation and Technological Interventions to Augment Production and Consumption of Ashikumna/Thevochie - Nagaland’s Traditional Fermented Meat Product” at the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, CAU (Imphal), Jalukie, Nagaland.

Remuneration : (i) Rs. 37,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through : Candidate with National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET/ ASRB-NET
(ii) Rs. 30,000/- + HRA for candidates who do not fall under category (i) above.
Essential qualification : BVSc / BSc Food Tech / BPharm or equivalent / Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences OR MVSc / Master’s Degree in Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desired qualification : Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in the relevant field, with working knowledge of computers and the local language.
General Instructions for Candidates
a. Required Documents: Candidates must bring a filled application and bio-data on plain paper, two passport-size photos, original certificates, attested photocopies of all documents, and an NOC from their current employer if applicable.
b. For SC/ST/OBC candidate age limit is as per the Govt, of India norms. Such candidates claiming relaxation in age should produce the caste certificate from the Competent Authority.
c. Expenses : No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
d. Authority : The university reserves the right to change the number of posts or cancel the recruitment without providing reasons.
e. Disqualification : Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
