Applicants are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following post of Project Research Scientist-1 at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, against the ICMR-funded project entitled “Exploiting synthetic lethality of type II NADH dehydrogenases for complete sterilization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis”.
Post : Project Research Scientist-1
Fellowship amount : Rs.56000/-PM +30% HRA = Rs 72,800.00 per month (5% salary increase in 3rd year).
Minimum Essential Qualification : Postgraduate in the field of Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences or any other allied Life sciences with 2 years of Research experience.
Age limit : 35 years (Age relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).
Experience : A candidate with experience of handling risk group III pathogens (specifically Mycobacterium tuberculosis) in BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory facilities is desirable. He/she should have experience in Molecular biology, In vitro assay development, and In vivo experimentation. Candidates having prior experience in these areas will be preferred.
