Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) invites applications for the position of Project Technical Support– III to work under ICMR-sponsored research project titled “Assessment of Pharmacogenomics and Metabolomics as Potential Preemptive Biomarkers for Antitubercular Drug-Induced Liver Injury in TB patients” at the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MAHE, Manipal. The selected candidates will work in a multidisciplinary team to carry out the research project.
Post : Project Technical Support III (One position)
Educational Qualification and Experience : BSc/MSc/MPharm/PharmD/MTech (Laboratory technology / Microbiology / Molecular biology / Biotechnology / Pharmacy Practice preferred). Also, UG degree with three years of experience in laboratory maintenance, including ordering supplies, inventory, preparing reports, and assisting with research staff, are also eligible.
Skills required / desired :
• Processing blood samples from the patients
• Experience in pharmacy / laboratory technology / microbiology / molecular biology is preferred
• Metabolomics research experience
• Good communication & computer skills
Duties and responsibilities :
• Maintaining the laboratory
• Isolation of serum and plasma from whole blood samples
Remuneration in INR/ month : Rs. 28,000 + 10%HRA – (Rs.30,800/- per month)
