Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya looking for Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology candidates

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following position of Senior Project Associate at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University, Sagar - 470003, M.P in the project entitled "DBT-BUILDER- Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Programme for Advanced Research and Education (Level II)" vide Letter No: BT/INF/22/SP47619/2022 dated 9th Nov. 2022" funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt, of India (Project Period Five Years). Positions are purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with project. Details of the positions are given below.

Post : Senior Project Associate (01)

Emoluments Per month : Rs. 42000 + 8% HRA (i.e. Rs. 45360)

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Life sciences (Botany/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Zoology) from a recognized University with 04 or more years of experience in research & development in academic institutions/ universities OR Ph.D in Botany/ /Biotechnology/ Microbiology /zoology/ Life Sciences

Desirable : Experiences in molecular biology techniques/ HPLC/ Microarray techniques/ nanoparticle analysis and application Required to take care of the research activity and assist in data collection, analysis report, and article writing and monitoring of the activities. To assist the Ph.D. scholars and support the Master student's dissertation work. To accomplish the academic activities as assigned by the Project Coordinator and Principal Investigators

• The position will be filled as per DST OM SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10th July, 2020.
• Candidates will be strongly encouraged to pursue Ph.D. research in the relevant topic.
• The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled on Contractual basis.
• The selected candidates shall have no riqht/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is co-terminus with the Project.
