Department of Health & Family Welfare Announces Pharmacists Openings

Member Secretary, District Level Selection Committee, Darjeeling & Chief Medical Officer of Health, Darjeeling will conduct a walk in interview and original document verification for scorecard for recruitment of the following contractual posts sanctioned under NHM, XVFC-Health Grant & AYUSH in DH&FWS, Darjeeling G.T.A, as per schedule given below :

Post : Pharmacist (RBSK)

For all the posts the applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal & must have knowledge of local language.

No of posts : 08 [SC-2, UR-3, EWS-1, ST-1, OBC Category(A)-l]
Eligibility : The candidates should have 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) from any institute approved by Pharmacy Council on India (PCI)/AICTE. Persons holding Bachelor in Pharmacy (B-Pharma) and Masters in Pharma(M- Pharma) from any Institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)/AICTE will be given additional marks.
Age as on 31.03.2025 : up to 40 years
Remuneration : Rs 22000/- per month consolidated
Place of posting : BPHC/ SDH under Darjeeling GTA

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Merit list of eligible candidates based on scoring of academic qualification starting from Secondary onwards as stated in the Scale of Scoring. After successful verification of original testimonials category wise final selection list according to merit will be prepared for appointment 
SCORING : (Total Marks 100)
1. For Class 10 or equivalent. : Maximum 20 marks (Porportionate Marking i.e % obtained in the exam *20/ 100) 
2. For Class 12 or equivalent : Maximum 20 marks (Porportionate Marking i.e % obtained in the exam *20/ 100) 
3. For Diploma in Pharmacy (Allopathic) : Maximum 30 marks (Porportionate Marking i.e % obtained in the exam *30/ 100) 
4. Possessing Bachelor in Pharmacy (B- Pharma Allopathic) : Maximum 20 marks (Porportionate Marking i.e % obtained in the exam *20/100) 
5. Possessing Masters in Pharmacy (M-Pharma Allopathic) : Maximum 10 marks (Porportionate Marking i.e % obtained in the exam *10 / 100)


Important Information to Candidate
1. Cut off date for age calculation is 31.03.2025
2. Age relaxation will be given as per govt norms to SC/ST & OBC candidates.
3. No of posts maybe changed in future
4. All posts are purely on contractual basis valid upto 31.03.2026 which maybe extended on the basis of performance & subject to continuation and fund support.
5. One candidate may apply for multiple posts if he/she is eligible
6. The selection committee reserves the right to reject any application not properly filled up
7. Failure to submit any requisite documents liable to cancellation of candidature at the time of physical verification.
8. Percentage of marks will be calculated on the basis of 2 decimal points
9. Upper age relaxation will be given as per government norms.
10. The engagement to above posts is purely on contractual basis
11. The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
12. The decision of the District Level Selection Committee is final
13. The panel of selected candidates will be valid till one year from the date of publication of panel.
14. Any addendum or corrigendum will be displayed in the following website: www.wbhealth.gov.in & www.darjeeling.gov.in
15. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the walk-in interview.
16. Registration for walk in interview will start from 11:00 am on scheduled date. The candidates who will appear after 4:00 pm shall not be allowed for registration/or to appear for the walk-in interview.

Documents required at the time of walk-in interview
1. Application form in prescribed format Annexure A(Format) for the post of Medical Officer/Specialist doctor/Staff Nurse & Annexure B(Format) for the post of Community Health Assistant.
2. Age proof (Self attested photocopies of Birth Certificate/Marksheet or Admit of Class X or Madhyamik
3. Original & self-attested photocopies of Madhyamik Admit card and marksheet of Madhyamik Examination & Higher Secondary examination.
4. Original & Self attested photocopies of all marksheets (Semester/Year wise) of MBBS Degree/BSc Nursing/GNM/ANM. In case of MBBS candidates passing from foreign institutes the FMG examination marksheet is to be submitted.
5. Original & Self attested photocopies of all marksheets (Semester/Year wise) of PG degree/DNB/PG Diploma (as per post criteria).
6. Original & Self attested photocopies of registration certificate for MBBS/ANM course (as per post criteria)
7. Original & self-attested photocopies of caste certificate (as applicable)
8. Original & self-attested photocopies of Disability certificate (as applical
9. Original & self-attested photocopies of EWS certificate (as applicable)
10. Original 85 self-attested photocopies of experience certificate (Experience certificate must consist of Name of post, employers name, date of joining and date of leaving otherwise experience certificate will be treated as invalid)
11. Candidates working in Government organisation must route their application through proper channel if their department rules requires so and produce NOC at the time of document verification.
12. Original & attested photocopy of voter card/AADHAR card
13. Proof regarding permanent residential status (domicile certificate) should be duly attested by a gazette officer or Group -A Officer of the state Government.
14. Self-attested recent 2 copies of passport size photo to be pasted one in application form another to be brought at the time of interview.
15. Demand Draft /NEFT in favour of District Health & Family Welfare Samity, GTA Darjeeling (Punjab National Bank, Darjeeling, A/c No 0548010120871, IFSC-PUNB0054820) of Rs 100/- for Unreserved Category and Rs 50/- for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH) to be submitted by all candidates appearing for the walk in interview.
