Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore was established in 1952. SGSITS is recognized as a leading institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the western region consistently during its glorious journey of seventy years. It has been ranked in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on national level (including IITs and NITs) by MHRD. Further looking to its credentials, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has declared the institute as autonomous in 1989. Under the autonomous state, the institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (university of technology of M.P.) Bhopal.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from the Indian nationals for the following position for working on the MPCST funded R&D project “Designing the surface properties of Poly (alkyl cyanoacrylates) nanoparticles through functionalization for its intended use in controlled and targeted drug delivery system” awarded to Dr. Meena Tiwari, Professor & Head, (Principal Investigator) & Dr. Vineet Singh, Associate Professor (Co-investigator).

Number of Position(s) : One (1)
Duration of the Position : One year. Extendable up to two years (2 Years) based on the performance.
Emoluments : Rs 20000/- (Fellowship) (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month

Essential qualification : M. Pharm./M. S.(Pharm.)/ M. Tech.(Pharm.) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates should have Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
Desirable qualification :  (i) GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or Equivalent examination.
(ii) Experience in the synthesis of receptor targeted nanomedicines, drug delivery systems, characterisation of nanoparticles and cell biology related experiments will be preferred.
(iii) The candidates having 1-2 years of research experience in industry or research laboratory is preferred.
(iv) Publications in reputed journals.


Relaxation in age and minimum qualifying marks in essential qualification is as per M.P. state government norms

General Terms and Conditions :
1. The position is temporary.
2. The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
4. The candidate is expected to report within a short notice upon selection.
5. The selected candidate may be allowed to get register for Ph.D. as per the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University rules.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
