The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Essential Qualifications
a) MSc (Life Sciences or equivalent) or Masters in Medical Social work with 2 years research experience, OR
b) MBBS / BDS / M.Pharma or equivalent
Age : 35 years
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge and experience of 1. Biostatistics OR 2. Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis OR 3. Bioinformatic analysis OR 4. Genomic procedures
Salary : Rs 35,000 + HRA
Tenure : Initial appointment will be for a period of 3 months, will be renewable 6 monthly
