National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
Applications are invited for a Research Scientist in Biological Science Department to carryout and support ongoing research and academic activities of the department.
Post : Research Scientist
Essential Qualification : PhD in life science with the first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with good academic record throughout. A minimum of 2 years of the Teaching/Research/Industrial experience, excluding the experience gained while pursuing PhD having expertise in Molecular Biology.
Desirable experience : Preference will be given to the candidate having strong record of publications in SCI indexed peer reviewed journals. Having hands on experience in various molecular tools such as Genomics, Proteomics, and exposure in vitro and in vivo techniques etc.
Remuneration : The consolidated salary will be paid as per institute’s norms and candidate’s experience/Profile.
Upper age limit : 35 years
