Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow in Department of Pharmacognosy, SPS, SGRR University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand for the Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST) Research Fund project entitled "Phytopharmaceuticals analysis based identification and comparison of tissue-cultured Zonthoxylum armatum DC. (Timur) species with their wild correspondences and development of smart recommender system for cultivation in Uttarakhand Himalayan region" under Principal Investigator Dr. Yogendr Bahuguna and Co-PI Dr. Sunil Semwal.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Duration : 1 Year extendable by 1 year based on performance.
Emoluments : Rs. 12,000 per month
Qualification : M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Masters of Technology in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology / M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology with First Class in Graduation and Post-Graduation. NET / GATE / GPAT qualified candidates, M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy with research experience in relevant area will be preferred.

Note :
1) Selected candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. subsequently in SGRR University as per University norms.
2) No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Interview or joining the post.
3) No Applications will be entertained if hard copies are not submitted.
4) JRF will not be considered as the employee of the Dept, of Pharmacognosy, SPS, SGRRU and no claim in this regard even after completion of the Project will be entertained.
5) Interview Panel decision will be final.
6) This project will be conducted as per the Terms and Conditions of the Grant provided by the UCOST.
