The 2nd cancer hospital in Varanasi was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Damodardas Modi on Tuesday, 19th February 2019. The hospital was named the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC), in honor of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (1861-1946), an Indian educationalist, a past Dean of the Law School at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and, past President of the Indian National Congress (INC). The first cancer hospital in Varanasi, the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital (HBCH) was already functional (May 2018) with bed strength of 179. This second cancer hospital, the MPMMCC has bed strength of 350.

Consolidated Monthly Salary (In Rs.) : RS. 15,678/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Eight Only)
Eligibility Criteria : B. Pharm with minimum 1-year experience OR D. Pharm with minimum 3 years working experience in Dispensary / Pharmacy of the Hospital having minimum 200 beds. Registration with State Pharmacy Council with duly allotted Registration Number is mandatory. Experience of working on computerized system desirable. Candidate should be prepared to work in shift duties, including night shift.
