Associate Scientist- Immunology
Job Purpose
Seeking an outstanding scientist with a strong background in immunology/ immuno- immunology to join our Biology team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cellular immunology and/or immuno-oncology with extensive laboratory experience with the culture, phenotyping of immune cells based on surface and intracellular markers and functional characterization of human and mouse T cells, B cells and other immune cell subsets
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience with multicolour flow cytometry and data analysis, cytotoxicity, cell proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle assays.
• Experience in working with immune cells, isolation of human PBMCs, monocytes, T cells and B cells, deriving myeloid cells and culturing them, generation of M1 and M2 macrophages, cytotoxicity and phagocytosis assays, mixed lymphocyte cultures, ADCC, ADCP and CDC assays.
• Experience in working with mouse primary immune cells, harvesting and generating mouse DCs, macrophages, T cells and B cells.
• ELISA, Luminex and ELISPOT based assays.
• Experience with antibody affinity characterization using Octet and Biacore.
• DNA/RNA extraction, western blotting, PCR.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Candidate Profile
• M.Sc. / M. Tech in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical sciences
• DNA/RNA extraction, western blotting, PCR,
• Candidate should be able to work with Flow J and Graphpad Prism
• ELISA, Luminex and ELISPOT based assays.
• Experience with antibody affinity characterization using Octet and Biacore.
• Computer proficiency including the use of spreadsheet and word processing software, such as   Microsoft Word and Excel and Power point.  
• Candidate should have good communication and presentation skills.
• 3-9 years of experience in the relevant industry
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, and a high level of dedication, enthusiasm, motivation, and persuasive ability in a team and cross-functional environment.
• Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to details, proactive self-starter

Associate Scientist - Assay Biology
Job Purpose
To be a part of the Assay Biology group and support various assay development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing cell based assays- optimization and assay validation on different assay formats
• Biochemical, Enzyme based assay development
• Screening of the compounds- small and large molecules
• Lab management
• Writing of Laboratory Note Books, tractability of raw data, analysis and study report to ensure data integrity.
• Data analysis and report preparation
• Ensure completion of the work as per the project timelines
• Able to learn, adapt and generate reportable data with respect to protocol/technology transfer from clients.
• Must be able to anticipate the project requirement and to give regular updates, escalating any major shortfall with respect to resources and timelines.
• Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
Candidate Profile
• M.Sc/M.Tech in Biological Sciences
• Expertise and in-depth knowledge in mammalian cell culture.
• Experience in conducting TR-FRET, HTRF, Fluorescence Intensity, Alpha screen, Radioactive assays and Luminesce based assay.
• Experience in ELISA and Luminex based assays for cytokine estimations
• Experience with human primary cells and tissue samples
• Experience with RT-PCR and Westerns would be desirable
• Experience in Flow cytometry and immune-phenotyping would be desirable
• To analyze and present data using excel, ppt and statistical tools (Graph Pad Prism, Excel-fit)
• Willingness and flexibility to work in cross functional teams across technical domains
• Ability to plan and execute work and perform multiple activities in parallel.
• M.Sc/M.Tech with 3 to 8 years of experience
• Good work ethics.
• Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work with co?workers professionally.
• General ability to thrive in a growing infrastructure and culture and also think out of box approach when troubleshooting and problem solving.

Senior Research Associate-Assay Biology
Job Purpose
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of multiple cell based and biochemical assays while maintaining highest quality and integrity of data and meeting established timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to research scientists in terms of planning and executing molecular and/or cellular laboratory experiments and interpreting results.
• Perform Cell based assays like Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays, etc.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Candidate Profile
• M.Sc in Life sciences or related field.
• Skilled in mammalian cell culture. Experience in handling primary cells (PBMC, splenocytes, cardiomyocytes, etc.) is an added advantage
• Cell based assays: Advanced skills in one or more of the following assay techniques:
• Plate based assays - Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays
• Second messenger assays - cAMP, Ca2+, IP3, phosphorylation
• Immunoassays - ELISA, WB, Immunostaining
• Flow cytometry, Hi-content imaging
• qPCR assays
• Transient transfections / reporter gene assays
• Excellent pipetting skills. Experience with automated liquid handling systems an added advantage
• Experience and good knowledge on assay QC parameters
• 1 – 5 Years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Good oral, written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualification & Experience : M.Sc/M.Tech/MPhil in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical sciences with 2 to 12 years of relevant experience.
