Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi sponsored research project entitled “Studies on Therapeutic Aspects of Nucleic Acid Aptamer-grafted-RGD Receptor Targeted Theranostic Chitosan-PLGA Nanoparticles for Brain Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment”

Essential Qualification : Master of Pharmacy (preference will be given to GPAT/GATE qualified candidate).

Desirable Work Experience: Candidates with expertise in the synthesis of receptor-targeted nanomedicines, drug delivery systems, characterization of nanoparticles, cell biology animal handling related experiments will be preferred. The candidates having 1-2 years of research experience in industry or research laboratory is preferred.

Duration of the Position : Initial appointment will be made for one year and based on the performance and the funding situation this appointment can be extended maximum up to three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project or may be terminated earlier by the Principal Investigator.

Emoluments (Per Month) : Rs. 31,000/- (for first 2 years), Rs. 35,000/- (for 3rd year) Plus + HRA@24% as per the SERB norms

Age Limits : Maximum age limit is 30 years. The SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD and female candidates will get relaxation as per Government of India Rules.
