The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals’ long cherished dream of higher education.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Assistant
Title: “To develop on-site identification mechanism and study importance of some medicinal plants of Chhattisgarh used by local healers for human health management in tribal region using Foldscope”.
Duration of the project: 07 Months or Project Completion Date whichever is earlier
Essential qualifications: For JRF as per Govt. rules: M. Pharm. / MS (Pharm) OR MSc. (Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology/equivalent) with minimum 55% marks along with NET For Project Assistant: MSc.(Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology)
Salary: For JRF Rs. 25000/- p.m. consolidated / For Project Assistant Rs. 14,000/- p.m. consolidated
Age limit and relaxation: As per DBT rules (however relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD candidate will be given as per rules)
