National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Deemed University) , formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. Applications are invited for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project entitled “Cytotoxic and tumor suppressor role of a novel fusion suicide gene bCDF186W-hPFN1 on rheumatoid arthritis”, sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
First class in B. E / B. Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects
First class in B.E / B. Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects and First class in M.E / M.Tech / MS Biotechnology or allied subjects
First class in Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects
First class in M.Sc Biotechnology, Life sciences or allied subjects and First class in M.Tech Biotechnology or allied subjects
First class in M.Sc Biotechnology, life sciences or allied subjects
Note: Preference will be given to GATE/NET qualified candidates
Age Limit : Upto 28 years
Duration : 3 years
Nature of Work : Molecular cloning, Protein expression & Purification, Computational Biology, Mammalian cell culture
1. Rs. 25,000/- pm for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- pm for third year.
2. The selected candidate is eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities based on the availability.
