Post: Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow- One
Title of the project: Sero-surveillance, molecular characterization and epidemiology of pox viral infections in animals from North Eastern region of India
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences
Desirable work experience: Working experience in cell culture, sample collection, ELISA, PCR, real-time PCR, gene cloning, protein expression, well versed with bioinformatics software’s and computer knowledge
Emoluments: Emolument shall be - 16,000 + HRA for the first two years and - 18,000+HRA for the 3rd year and applicable only if the candidate is JRF/SRF NET/GATE/ BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be - 12,000+HRA for the first two years and - 14,000+HRA for the 3rd year
Age Limit: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms)

The post is temporary on purely contractual basis for a period up to September 29, 2016 and will co-terminate with the project, whichever is earlier as the case may be.
