The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to research, teaching and patient care in the field of chest diseases. A Walk-in-Interview for the post of Project Research Scientist I in the Project entitled Experimental studies on the effects of UNIM 352, a polyherbal Unani formulation, on pulmonary fibrosis and its mechanisms under Ayurgyan Scheme (P I. - Prof. Kavita Gulati) will be held on 11.02.2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Department of Pharmacology. 1st Floor, MS Bldg, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007.
Post : Project Research Scientist-1
Eligibility : M.Pharm (Pharmacology) or M.Sc. (Pharmacology/Life Sciences)
Desirable : Two years research experience.
Emoluments : Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA per month, as per rules
Age : Below 35 years, on date of advertisement and relaxation applicable as per rules
Terms and conditions
1. The above-mentioned vacancy is for a period of 01 year, which can however be extended to a maximum of two & a half years or co-terminus of the project whichever is earlier depending on the candidates ‘performance and budget grant from the funding agency.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Candidates are requested to bring their bio data along with relevant documents in the Dept, of Pharmacology, VPCI, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, at 10:00 am on 11th Feb 2026.
4. Any corrigendum / modification will be posted on Institute website.
Note : As per ICMR guidelines, it is to be noted that if eligible candidates are more than 30 in number, a written test will be conducted thereby.
