Name of the Project : “INCENTIVE : Indo-European Consortium for Next Generation Influenza Vaccine innovation” funded by DBT
Educational Qualifications : Candidate should have PhD degree in any field of Biological Sciences with at least 1 research publication in standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citations Reports (JCR)
Desirable : Candidate should preferably have experience of working under BSL3 virology laboratory. Candidate should preferably have experience in molecular biology, multi-parameter (at least 7 parameters) flow cytometery. Candidates having experience in Influenza biology and viral assays are encouraged to apply. Candidates having experience in OMICS technique would be given preference. Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the project investigators based on the expertise in any of the above-mentioned techniques and suitability of the candidate for the project.
Job Description : Research Associate will carry out experiments related to the work element of the project such as Immunogenicity and efficacy studies of flu vaccines candidates in NHP-ABSL3 facility and perform viral assays (HAI, MN, ELLA etc.) and host factors by techniques such as multicolor flow cytometry, ELISA, OMICS etc.
Emoluments : Rs. 58,000/- per month plus 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)
