Pharmacy Council of India Announces Opportunities for Pharmacy Graduates

The Pharmacy education and profession in India is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 passed by the Parliament.  The Pharmacy Act 1948 was enacted on 4.3.48 with the following preamble- An Act to regulate the profession of pharmacy. Whereas it is expedient to make better provision for the regulation of the profession and practice of pharmacy and for that purpose to constitute Pharmacy Councils. The PCI was constituted on 9.8.49 under section 3 of the Pharmacy Act.

Post : Scrutinizer (purely on contractual basis)

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is a statutory body working under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. PCI invites eligible candidates for walk-in interview for the posts Scrutinizer (purely on contractual basis).

Qualification and Experience : D.Pharm (Fresher), B.Pharm (Fresher), Pharm.D (Fresher)

Number of Posts : 20

Salary (Consolidated basis) : Rs. 35,000/- per month

Note : Tenure of 1 years subject to extension based on merit and performance.
