NFSU Offers Research Opportunities for Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry candidates

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Project Associate-1 to work on the research project entitled "Pharmacological Investigation of Piliostigma foveolatum (Dalzell) Thoth: Exploring Antimalarial and Antituberculosis Potential" funded by the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, for a total period of 3 years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Post : Project Associate

Number of Positions : One (01) (Purely Contractual)
Duration of the Position : Initially for one (01) year but extendable up to 2 more years or the duration of the project, whichever is earlier

Emoluments Monthly Salary : Rs. 33,000/- (consolidated)

Minimum qualifications : Postgraduate (MSc Chemistry / MSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry). Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA in the preceding degrees.

Desirable qualifications : Candidates with experience in natural products research, bioassays, phytochemical analysis, extraction, isolation, and characterization techniques such as NMR, MS, HPLC, FUR, UV-Vis will be given preference. Additionally, candidates with experience in project handling and biological screening will be an added advantage.

Age Limit : The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the GOI rules.

General Terms and Conditions
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and no further communication in this regard will be entertained.
2. The date of the interview will be communicated via email to the shortlisted candidates.
3. No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
4. The prescribed qualifications and/or experience shall be the minimum, and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same shall not entitle him/her to an interview. National Forensic Sciences University shall have the right to restrict the number of candidates to be interviewed to a reasonable level based on better or higher qualifications and experience than the minimum prescribed.
5. The contractual appointment shgll end on the contract's stipulated expiry date in the appointment letter. Selected candidates shall have no right to renewal or extension of conversion into permanent employment.
6. Canvassing or influencing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such candidate. National Forensic Sciences University reserves the right to take appropriate action against such a candidate.
7. Read carefully qualification & experience for the requirements of the relevant discipline and apply only if you have requisite qualifications and experience.
8. Applicants for employment (private, government, or any other organization) are required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer along with their CV and other relevant certificates/Credentials when submitting their applications
9. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the selection process, which may come to notice at any stage even after the issue of an appointment letter, the National Forensic Sciences University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication or offer made to the candidates at any stage
10. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the National Forensic Sciences University shall be final and binding.
11. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding the conduct and result of the interview and reasons for not being called for the interview.
