IIT Invites Applications for Post Research Fellowship Programme

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the research project: “SAKSHAM- Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials”, sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under ANRF PAIR Program (NIT Kurukshetra- Spoke and IIT Indore-Hub).

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

The project comprises three themes : Theme 1 : Advanced Materials; Theme 2 : Environmental Sustainability and Energy Technology; and Theme 3: Health and Medical Technologies. The project will be implemented at the spoke institution, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in collaboration with the hub institution, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Khandwa Road, Simrol, Indore (M.P.). The workplace may vary from time to time as per project requirements (Spoke and Hub institutions).

Eligibility : Post-graduation in Basic Sciences/Engineering/ Pharmacy/Technology with 60% aggregate marks/ Average (CGPA) 6.5 on a 10-point scale for GEN and marks/CGPA will be relaxed by 5% or by a CGPA of 0.5 (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD candidates from a UGC recognized University/ Institute/ Autonomous bodies.
Desirable Qualification : CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE/GPAT qualification
Duration : Initial appointment is upto 31 March 2026, to be continued till September 2029 based on the performance (semester wise).
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- p.m. + HRA (as per norms)
Age Limit : Upper age limit 32 years as on 01.01.2026 (For SC / ST/ OBC/ Female and PwD candidates, relaxation of age as per GOI)
