Applications are invited from suitable candidates for JRF position leading to PhD (if found satisfactory) to work on the project “Establishment of intestinal organoid model to decipher the functional significance of host gut microbiota derived bile acids in conferring protection against radiation induced intestinal stem cell damage impacting barrier integrity" sponsored by DRDO-LSRB under the supervision of Dr. Trinath Jamma, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.

Title of the project : Establishment of intestinal organoid model to decipher the functional significance of host gut microbiota derived bile acids in conferring protection against radiation induced intestinal stem cell damage impacting barrier integrity
Fellowship amount : Rs. 37,000/- + 30% HRA/ month
Eligibility requirement : MTech / M.E. / M.Pharm / M. Sc. with 1st Class in Biochemistry / Life Sciences/Biological Sciences (from recognized university) with valid GPAT/GATE/Net Qualified. Candidates with CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, INSPIRE are also encouraged to apply.
Desirable : Cell culture, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry techniques, Imaging Techniques, Mouse Handling, Bioinformatic Tool based data analysis.
Start Date : 1st April 2026

Note : The PI and Institute reserve the right to terminate the engagement of the project staff at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory. Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit. The date and time of interview will be informed via email. Based on the performance, the student will be encouraged to register into Ph.D programme if interested.
