The Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory Guwahati is the one of the five National Laboratory of the Govt of India for quality control of Drugs and Cosmetic and is established under the Indian Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 functioning under administrative control of the Drugs Controller General of India and sub ordinate office under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The laboratory was set up in the year 2002 for entire North Eastern State including Sikkim and is housed in its own building at Guwahati.

Bench Chemist (Medical Device) (05)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 35280/-
Qualification / Experience : Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, along with at least one year experience in the manufacturing or testing of medical devices. Preference will be accorded to candidates having experience in testing of sterile single-use medical devices or non-sterile medical devices.

Bench Chemist (Drugs) (05)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 35280/-
Qualification / Experience : B.Pharmacy with experience or M.Pharma, Master Degree in Chemistry / Microbiology. Candidates having experience in testing of drugs will be given preference. The candidates should also have sound knowledge of computer operation.
