Project Title : Evaluating the Neuro-therapeutic Potential of DNA Methyltransferase - inhibitors and CDNF gene (delivery) for Parkinson’s disease Management
Project Tenure : 1 Year and extendable to 3 years

Co-Investigator : Dr. Jagpreet Sidhu, Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
Project / Job Description : The desirable experience for the candidate is that he/she should be well versed in Pharm formulation development and its characterization. He/she also performs In Vitro and In Vivo studies to explore molecular mechanisms, using RT –PCR, Western blotting, SDS-PAGE and well-established skills for the delivery of mRNA and Gene Delivery.
Qualification : First class Master's Degree in M.Pharm/MS in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Biotechnology. Candidates qualify GPAT/GATE /INSPIRE with experience in molecular biology/pharmacology, and formulation development will be preferred.
Upper Age Limit : 35 Years
Fellowship / Stipend : 56,000 Per month + 10 % HRA (if applicable, as per rules)
Registration for PhD : Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit, experiences and as per the requirements of the project. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview which will be conducted through online mode. Only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for an interview.
