The office of the Assam Pharmacy council is situated at Pharmacy Bhawan, Hengrabari, Guwahati, Pin - 781036 (Assam), in the campus of Director of Health Services, Assam. Assam Pharmacy Council is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Assam under the provisions of the Pharmacy Act 1948 to regulate the profession and practice of Pharmacy in the State of Assam.

Online applications are invited from the candidates willing to work in O/o the Pharmacy Council for the post of Registrar, Assam Pharmacy Council, Assam.
Essential qualification : Candidates with higher qualifications, preferably a registered pharmacists with the Assam Pharmacy Council under Section 32(2) of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, with registration renewed and valid up to 31st December, 2025.
Desirable : Applicants are required to have sufficient knowledge and practical experience in computer-related work, including email correspondence, drafting of letters/documents, MS Office usage, general office documentation work and other routine administrative work. Preference will be given to the candidate having atleast fifteen years of experience in the relevant field.
Age : upto 62 years as on 31st December 2026
Remuneration : Rs. 55,000/- per month
Duty : Full Time
The term of service of the Registrar will be purely contractual basis. Scanned copy of the application in Standard Form duly filled and self-attested along with all certificates should be sent in the council Email ID info.assampharmacycouncil@gmail.com on or before 18/02/2026. The schedule of interview/selection test for the post will be published in the print media and Council website assampharmacycouncil.com in due course of time. No separate call letter for the interview/selection test will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/selection test.
