Applications are invited for the post of Pharmacist in District Health Society

GUHP (Gujarat Urban Health Project) is being implemented in the district by District Health Society, Jamnagar (Gujarat Government). Which mainly includes maternal and child welfare, family welfare and adolescent health etc. For the implementation of the program, the following vacant posts are to be filled on a contractual basis in various offices under the District Health Society and a waiting list is to be prepared for the posts that will become vacant in the future.

Total Allowance : Rs. 11,000/- per month.

Educational Qualification & Experience : 1. Possesses a degree in Pharmacy or a diploma in Pharmacy of a recognized university, or an equivalent educational qualification and must have registered his/her name with the Gujarat pharmacy council.
2. Provided that preference shall be given to a candidate having experience in dispensing the medicine in hospitals or dispensaries.
3. A candidate possessing knowledge of Computer is an additional qualification (AS PER GUHP)

Age Limit : Up to 58 years (Retired individuals with above qualifications can also apply with an age limit upto 62 Years if physically fit)

All posts will be appointed and waiting list will be made on the basis of merit and GUHP rules. The age of the candidates should be as per the age limit as on the last date of application. The selected candidate will be given appointment on a contract basis of 11 months. During which the contract period of the candidate can be extended up to the term of the program based on the performance of the candidate. All final decisions regarding the appointment such as increase or decrease in the post or cancellation of recruitment as well as the above recruitment process will be the sole responsibility of the Mission Director, District Health Society and Chief District Health Officer, Jamnagar.

Important instructions regarding filling the online form
• Only the application received online at https://arogyasathi.gujarat.gov.in will be accepted. Applications received through RPAD, speed post, courier or simple post will not be accepted.
• Photocopy of legible original documents must be uploaded in the software. Applications not uploaded with the required documents will not be accepted.
• Applications with incomplete details will be invalid.
• For selection of all cadres, merit list will be prepared based on the percentage obtained in the final year of degree / diploma / graduation and if there is more than one trial in the final year, merit list will be prepared by deducting 3% per trial. As computer skills are required for the cadre of Accountant cum Data Assistant, those who have computer qualifications as mentioned in the TOR will be considered in merit.
• Candidates of Homeopathic/Ayurvedic Doctor (RBSK) will have to attach all the mark sheets of Std. 12.
• For the posts where computer work is involved, they will have to give a computer practical examination.
• The age limit will be calculated on the last date of acceptance of applications mentioned in the advertisement.
• The recruitment process will be carried out as per the guidelines of the government, a merit list and a waiting list will be prepared.
• Correspondence for all the above posts will be done only through e-mail from now on, so the e-mail ID will have to be checked and the e-mail will have to be checked periodically.
• The contract-based period for the above posts will be for 11 months. The period can be increased or decreased based on the need and budget. These posts are not eligible for permanent employment.
• The place of appointment of the appointed candidate will be limited to District Panchayat Jamnagar. Your appointment will not be transferable to any other district. Which will be binding on you and you will not have to apply for transfer to any other outside district/corporation.
• All final decisions regarding the appointment such as increase or decrease in the post or cancellation of recruitment as well as the above recruitment process will be taken by the Mission Director, District Health Society and Chief District Health Officer, Jamnagar.
