Advertisement for Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology candidates under the BIRAC grant at NIAB

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling the following position at the BRIC National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, against the BIRAC funded project entitled “Development of a lateral flow-based immunochromatographic test using recombinant chimera antigen for detection of Neospora caninum infection in cattle”

Essential Qualification : MSc. / MVSc. / M.Tech. Degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and molecular biology techniques involving gene cloning and protein purification will be preferred.

Fellowship amount : Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA (if applicable) candidates NET or GATE or undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions and 25,000/- + HRA (if applicable) for others who do not have NET or GATE as per the DST guidelines.

Age : 35 years

Tenure : one year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
