Application invited for the following post of Project Research Scientist -I (NM) to the ICMR sanctioned project titled “Safety and Efficacy Evaluation of Liposome-based Nanocordycepin for the treatment of chemoresistant breast cancer cells in vitro an in vivo” to Dr. D. Guru Kumar, Associate Professor, Division of Biochemistry, School of Life Sciences, Mysuru for the remaining period of two years.
Post : Project Research Scientist- I (Non- Medical)
Salary : Rs. 56,000/- + 20% HRA pm
Essential Qualification : Masters degree Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology with Ph.D.
Desirable : Hands-on experience in the preparation of lipid-based nanoparticles, and characterizatio n methods of nanoparticles, cell culture. Hands on experience in animal (mice) handling and Molecular Biology Techniques
Job Description : The recruited candidate will perform majority of experiments proposed in the study, which includes preparation and characterization of nanoparticles, in vitro and in vivo safety and efficacy analysis etc. The Project Research Scientist-I will also take care of consumables ordering, storage and maintenance. The candidates with M.Sc., qualification shall enrol for Ph.D programme.
Age : 35 (relaxation as per government norms)
