Job Description
The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. Job Responsibilities
• Design projects and experiments.
• Perform the proposed experiments.
• Collect and analyze data, and make report to Principal Investigator in lab meetings.
• Actively participate as a member of a research team.
• Present research findings to colleagues and at conferences.
• Write progress reports and prepare results for publication and dissemination.
• Write grants and manuscripts, mentor junior researchers.
• Ordering of supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile
• Appropriate doctoral degree.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, biological engineering, nanotechnology, immunology, or related fields.
• Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
• Relevant professional experience
• Prior experience with biomaterials, drug and gene delivery, nanomedicine, tumor targeting, in vitro and in vivo evaluation.  Hands-on lab experience and publication in the related fields.
• Experience of grant and manuscript writing
• Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
