Post: Sr. Manager/Manager – SCM, (Pharma)

Job Description:
Implement strategic initiatives flowing from Unit SCM Head for enhancing competitiveness. Review 3months projection received from CP & CS. Verify stock status / WIP. Production Planning – Day, Line, Batch-wise production planning schedule. Availability of all other inputs for completing the work. Handle exceptions i.e. urgent orders, rescheduling, one off orders etc.
Monitoring and adherence of production planning. Delivery performance monitoring & control. Monitor daily activities and update to SCM Head. Ensure BOM availability in SAP. Budget tracking. Approved Purchase indent for Taw material and Packaging material based on delivery forecast. Ensure timely PO creation and PO release for RM, PM& Consumables.
Material inventory planning and Long TAT material ordering as per past trend and forecast. Inventory management process. Job work Outsource planning from plant location i.e. foil printing etc. (doesn’t include P2P orders). Follow-up with suppliers for timely delivery at site location. Supplier bills verification & payment process. Rejected / excess material return/control process. Control & Maintenance of material handling equipments.
Packing & Palletizing FG. Ensure Warehousing Compliance. Dispatch processes to CWH. FGS inventory monitoring & control. Excise/custom documentation preparation for delivery. Outside material movement management & control (returnable & non-returnable). Excise documents verification. Excise Credit & debit management. Internal & external audit management. Promote culture of team spirit, trust and emotional bonding among team member and their families on a continuous basis. Make team members understand and own the vision of company. Keep the team member motivated, energized so that team remain self-directed in achieving and breaking records.

Candidate Profile:
15 -16 yrs. post M.Sc/ M.Com/ B.Pharma with entire tenure functioning as SCM team Member
