Openings for Pharmacy graduates at NIPGR

Candidates are invited to appear before selection committee in the walk-in-interview for filling up the purely temporary position of one Project Associate-I in the ANRF-project entitled “Unlocking frost resilience in chickpea: Genome-wide mapping, resource profiling, and functional validation of Novel Long Noncoding RNA Regulators”, under Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) under the supervision of Dr. Shiv Kumar Meena, Scientist, NIPGR

Post : Project Associate-I (one Post)

Emoluments : Rs. 37000/- plus 30% HRA per month as sanctioned in the project.

Qualification : Candidates having four-year Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B.Pharm or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent and fulfilling the guidelines as per ANRF OM: ANRF/OM/N-01/2024 dated 14/10/2024 are eligible to apply.
The upper age limit for the post is 50 years.

The above position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship amount for the above positions is as sanctioned in the project and as per DBT/DST norms. The initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability of the project whichever is earlier and the same can be curtailed/extended based on assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.

Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in-interview at National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 on December 22, 2025 at 10:30 am onwards along with the duly filled in application form in the prescribed format. The duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of the date of birth, educational & experience certificates must be submitted at the time of registration at NIPGR from 09:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on December 22, 2025.

Any candidate reporting after 10:30 a.m. will not be entertained for walk-in interview. The candidates must ascertain eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed. All the candidates are requested to appear for the interview with complete bio-data, Ph. D thesis, publication in copy and original degree/experience certificates and transcripts for verification. Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to the disqualification of the candidate(s).

Note : Incomplete application and those in the wrong format will be summarily rejected. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
